UP StatSoc was scheduled to “bagsak” their PETs on May 15, 2008 at 5-6pm. Came morning, lots of PET bottles weren’t still sorted. Members and other kind people helped crush and remove the caps of the bottles. Nothing could really stop the StatSocers to work for their beloved organization, not even the heavy rain that poured in the afternoon. All Statsocers were very proud to see the gigantic pile of PETs being inspected by the FOPC. What’s more remarkable is that not a single plastic of PET bottles was declared void. This only showed a sign of an excellent inspection and work by the members. After the Bagsakan, the StatSocers went home with a smile because of the thought that it was truly a “JOB WELL DONE”.
The Race Representatives & FOPC Ad hoc also did a great job both in helping the FOPC inspect the PET bottles of other organizations and in guarding the points of StatSoc. The hard work of Steering Committee representatives is also commendable. The BOD is really proud of their dedicated and responsible members.
