The UP Statistical Society presented the movie screening of Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince in SM North Edsa- Cinema 4 The Block last July 17, Friday. Proceeds from this event will fund the UP Statistical Society’s 28th Anniversary.
Even an hour before the movie started, people had already been lining up- excited to watch the movie. Practically every seat was occupied. The event started with the UP Statistical Society’s President, Paul Michael Almeda, delivering his opening remarks, followed by announcements from partner organizations.
The audience were mostly UP students and everybody seems to have enjoyed the movie.
After the movie, free Jack and Jill Potato Chips, Jack and Jill Tacquitos and Choco Lava were given away.
