1st House to House
Hi Statsocers!
Maraming maraming salamat sa lahat ng tulong niyo sa ating 1st house to house kahapon lang :D hehe...alam namin na kayo ang asset ng ating org kaya sa lahat bg tumulong at naniniwalang tama lang ang magsilbi sa ating pinakamamahal na organisasyon! *cheers*...kita naman ang outcome ng ating paghihirap...kaya natin 'to...we are supposed to be held by one pourpose...to give service and exhibit excellence...at alam kong kayang patunayan to ng lahat :D tuloy tuloy lang...ciao!

Summer Genmeet Docu
The UP Statistical Society just had their general meeting themed as “SUMMER GENMEET SA TAG-INIT” this 16th of April at Room103, 3 in the afternoon. The venue was originally at Room 108 but due to unexpected situations they just had the meeting at Room103. Ms. Mazhiel Mercader, Internal Committee Chairperson led the prayer. The new set of BOD made sure to discuss all the important issues.
The agenda of the meeting consisted of FOPC Summer Bagsakan updates and other issues concerning the upcoming projects and events this summer. FOPC Adhoc signup sheet was also circulated for members to sign. Many members attended, most of the new members were present too. A commendable act by the new members. The general meeting may have started late but it finished much earlier than what was expected without leaving any concerns untackled.

BOD 08-09 in Pangasinan for 1st Semplan
Hi Statsocers!
Your board of directors just had their first semplanning last April 4-6 in Alaminos, Pangasinan. This had been the setting of all the frameworks from where we will see all of the upcoming summer and 1st semester activities for our organization's contribution of giving service and exhibiting excellence to the centennial year of our university.
haha...formal ba? so i think i'll be the first one to bring up the humor dito sa blog...haha...just posting for all of you to know all the "kwentos" sa aming naging semplanning :D
At 9 pm, exebod mtg to finalize the agenda para sa lahat ng mangyayare :D...tas 10 pm ang call time for chairs...we also had niko's mom and housemate kerby and fay's parents to bring us with their cars sa Victory Liner Bus Station sa Cubao. We arrived at the station mga 10:30 pa lang...pero 12 midnight pa alis ng bus kung san kame nagareserve ng seats..excited ba? haha
10:30 pm-12:00 mn, Victory Liner Bus Staiton
Wala kameng ginawa dito kundi hintayin ang bus namin at magkuentuhan ng magkuentuhan habang binabantaan kame ng mom ni niko at mom ni fay(whew...haba...bka magreact pag sinabi kong mom ni niko at fay eh...haha...peace :D) na sasama na daw sila to take care of us...aaww sweet but no...napatigil ang kuentuhan at nagkatinginan...uhm...papayag ba tayo? haha...just one thing na nakakabisa sa mga pangyayare dito...di namin maintindihan ung asa dispatcher's office sa pag-announce ng bus na papaalis na + at around 15 min before 12 cguro un...kate introduced us to one of her best friends na papuntang Baguio na andun rin sa Station...at parang saktong right after eh napansin naming past 12 mn na! oh no...the mommies went to the dispatcehr's office to check for our reservations...at...huhu...naiwan kame ng bus :C tskstksk....minomock na kame ng mga tao dun at pinagtitinginan...nakakhiya talaga...plus halos nakipag-away na ang "the mommies" haha...kasi ang labo talaga ng sound system nila...plus nasisi rin naman kame na kuentuhan ng kuentuhan...haha...at and bad news pa...4 am pa dawa ang next bus...kumusta naman ung maghihintay kame ng 4 hrs...just to be sure na di na ulit kame maiiwanan...mabuti na lang biglang nakaron ng 1 am na bus na papuntang pangasinan...instant...takbo agad...haha at lalong naging banta ang "the mommies" dahil pati sila asa loob na ng bus nang makasakay na kame...huhu...haha...but no di naman sila tumuloy sumama..:D bye mommies...hehe(hope they won't read this post...haha)..at dahil we know that we already trust each other so much as one group(Go BODkins) walang magkakalat...but no, nagtxt c mei..."Hi guys, ingat kayo sa semplan...balita ko naiwan kayo ng bus" WHAAATT??? pano niya nalaman? at bakit sobrang bilis...at aun...ung kaibigan ni kate ang salarin..haha...

Eating and sleeping galore ang pangyayare...donuts at chips...donuts at chips...donuts at chips...haha...wala ako maxado mashare...i just got awake every time we had a stopover...all the rest....i'm out...sleeping...haha
5:30 am - 8:00 am
after seeing the house of councilor ella braganza...who is our host(neighbor sila nila niko dito sa manila...her bro. is teh mayor of alaminos city, pangasinan)...we met "kuya" ang inassign ni ma'am ella to take care of us for the whole day sa tour! :D pero pumunta muna kame sa isang rest house kung san kame nagstay for the whole duration of our stay in pangasinan para ibaba gamit namin and to take our breakfast...yay! kain na naman...haha...fried rice, danggit & pangasinan longanisa na mukhang hotdog balls na may 2 tootpick sa side...hehe...yummy...after nun...nagready while waiting sa van to bring us to hundred islands!!! wuhoo!!! happy happy...forget about the semplan...haha

Service boat lang kame lumilibot sa mga islands...saya...haha...1st stop...sa isang island para magswimming at maglunch...food? pork barbecue at rellenong bangus na may red egg...uhm...yummy ulit..haha puro kain...tas swim swim...sand castle making...kasi si tiong ginawang base...haha tingnan niyo na lang sa mulitply ni kate kung anong nangyare sa kanya...haha...

punta pa sa ibang islands...pero wait...una pala muna...snorkling!!! :D wuhoo!!! we got to see thousand of giant clams under 10 ft of water...nagswim lang kame from a "balsa" tas swim with our vest...haha...na pambata raw ung kay niko! ;p katakot water..haha...at ang bilin nina kuya wag niyo ihuhulog snorkle niyo ah...mahirap sisirin...laro laro kame...hanggang..nagpanic si maze...may parang branch daw na umaano sa paa niya...tas pabalik na kame...teka maze asan snorkle mo??? hay naku...brach pala huh? haha...sinisisd tuloy ngayon ni kuya at mabuti nakuha dal kung hindi bayad ka maze...haha...nwei after that...marcos island ang next stop...may cave inside tas may place for swimming under..so we had the chance to jump at about 8-10 ft high na clift...bagsak sa 10 ft of water...saya! at nakatalon kame lahat :D galing!...swimming swimming ulit ng onti...tas next stop...governor's island...andito ang extension ng pbb house kung saan tumira si kim chu nung season nila...haha...pumunta rin kame sa taas ng island(parang tultok ng mountain) ganda ng view...and guess what? it looks familiar...ah hahaha...un pla ung makikita sa mga hekasi books nung elementary kapag dinidiscuss ang hundred islands...haha...astig we got to see it for real na :D wuhoo!!! tas dito kame nagsawa sa pictorial sa dagat sa pbb house at sa taas..kanya kanyang drama...haha...after...napagod rin ang lahat at nagdecyd na bumalik na sa lupa...i mean sa rest house pala...haha...tahimik lahat on our way back sa pagboat...nakakatulog na nga rin ako...at...namatay ang makina sa gitna...nawalan ng gasolina...what the? anong mangyayare...panic mode...pagabi na...ang lakas na ng alon...parang wala ng ibang bangka sa dagat...huhu...huhu..at..takte may extra gasolina pala..si kuya naman pinakaba pa kame...haha...

nagayos na ang bawat isa...took shower...namalengke sina she maze niko for our food for the remaining 2 days...tas nagluto sina fay and lovely...kuentuhan lang kame nina tiong at vlad...haha pasaway...ung niluto pla nila for dinner ay ang mgha baong de lata...haha tuna...magkakahalong corned beef...argentina at swiff...haha...tas dinner na :D...at siyempre may task rin naman kame...kame ni tiong ang naghugas ng mga plato....relax relax muna after...pahinga...tas may pre-semplan...block mtgs...tas kat ano lang kuentuhan just to prepare for the doomsday(semplan) haha...at hanggang sa napagod na rin ang lahat at natulog na...hiwalay rm ng girls sa boys for the first day...dapat transfer pa kame sa bolinao for the next two days...para libre ulit courtesy of lovely naman...hehe pero we just decided to stay sa house na un para di sayang time and binigyan naman kame ni ate ng discount..haha at for the next two days sa isang rm na lang kame...:D

food? red egg, kamatis, fried rice and tuyo :D after bfast...prepare na...ligo...no ligo kung abutan ng sempan time...1 pm...niluto na rin lahat ng food para kain na lang pag break...pero siyempre before mag1 naglunch na rin..food? sinigang na baboy ala she :D haha...yummy...

SEMPLAN PROPER..hay..haha joke...at guess what kung anong natapos from 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm...presentation ng proposals ng president at ER pa lang under internal block part! what??? ang tagal....grabe..sobrang binigyan namin ng time lahat ng bagay para madiscuss...siyempre para ready sa lahat ng puedeng mangyare...:D naks...haha pero teka dinner muna at 11 om huh...chicken adobo...mabilisan lang...at nagka-destruction pa...HORROR STORIES...oh no..huhu..tulog na tayo..hahah...pero no joke...just ask fay :D haha...after start na ulit ng semplan battling the threat of the "mumu" scary...haha

hayme...inabot na kame ng mahigit 24 hrs para matapos ang lahat...halos naka-12 hrs ang internal block...dal dun ang presentation ng lahat ng activities at pagplot ng schedules + external block's marketing and fund raising strategies + sec block's publicity and documents things...whew...we took a lot of time talaga to finish and give enough time for all aspect and for everybody...and we are aloso glad...kasi "the fact that we made ourselves awake means that we are really united" -fay ...at ginawa talaga namin ang lahat for StatSoc to have a blasts for UP's centennial year! :D kidding aside...pinaaalis na rin kame sa bahay dal ang kontrata namin kay ate eh gang sunday morning lang e mag 3 pm na...haha so wla ng naligo..eeww..haha...jollibee alaminos na kame naglnch tas diretso na bus station...no chance na maiwanan dal from 3 onwards tuloy tuloy biyahe ng mga bus...haha....so again...we went home ng hindi naliligo...haha...hindi naman kasi kame natulog(literally) for more than 24 hrs. remember? hehe...so tha's enough excuse + kuento ni maze na namatay dati niya teacher dal naligo after hindi matulog for 1 day...so wala na talag nagtangka...haha...galing talaga ni maze :D sana mabantaan mo rin ang lahat ng mems para umatend sa lahat ng activity...haha...
