What: First General Meeting (First Semester)

When: June 25, 2009 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

* The general meeting was hosted by Communications Committee Chairperson Kristine Claire Estrada and Internal Committee Chairperson Carmi Lou Peralta.

* Opening Prayer was led by Debbie Castillo of Communications Committee and Heverly Bravo of the Personnel Committee.

* UP Statistical Society President Paul Michael Almeda gave the opening remarks.

* StatSoc advocacy video by the Board of Directors was presented.

* StatSocers who showed dedication for the summer bagsakan, ahype and UP USC Freshmen Committee were given certificates and voucher worth 40 php globe load.

* Some of the important things discussed were: attendance policy, theme for anniversary week, announcement of activities (freshie day, recruitment week and semstarter), fundraising activities (Harry Potter 6 movie screening, solicitation letter, sanction – raffle tickets), StatSoc Jacket, Newspaper fee, cleaning guidelines and ahype.

* New Members, the probationary applicants of Batch Centrum 08-A, were also inducted.

* The total count of StatSocers for this semester is... 80!!!

* The summer issue of the Alternative Hype was also released.

* And, baller IDs were given to welcome each StatSocer.
