After the Apps’ Orientation last July 9 (Thursday), was the 2nd General Meeting of UP StatSoc at Vinzons Hall Activity Center. Julie Baluyot and Jonathan Bañez hosted the meeting, and Jonathan del Rosario led the opening prayer.
There was a short discussion regarding the charter change and constitutional assembly by a representative of Stand UP at the start of the meeting. After that, the winners of the semstarter were awarded. Internal Committee ranked third, Education and Research Committee ranked second and emerged as winner among six committees was the Communications Committee. Certificates and pizzas (Pizza Hut) were given as prize. Matters like upcoming events (acquaintance party and harry potter 6 screening), eco-friendly glasses, raffle tickets, solicitation letters were discussed.
