In desire to expand the UP Statsoc family, the organization opens its doors for application last June 29 - July 2. Inspired by an idea from a famous mall, the theme for the recruitment this semester is Statsoc Mania: We Got it All for You. A sign up booth is set where members invite fellow Statistics majors and spread the Statsoc advantage to them. Room to room advertisements, text brigades and endless invitations and other techniques are also done in scouting the potential future members of the pioneer organization in the School of Statistics. A total of 51 Stat Majors sign up and will embark on the challenging yet fun filled application road towards becoming a true blooded Statsocer.
