3rd General Meeting

The 3rd General Meeting was held last July 24, 2008 at the Vinzon's Activity Hall from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Applicants were invited for them to get a hint of how StatSoc conducts its regular meetings.

The General meeting was hosted by Desiree Halagao and Jonathan del Rosario, both from the Internal Committee.

To formally start the program, Karenne de Padua led the prayer.

Important topics such as Bonding Week concerns were discussed. Updates on members' attendance, PSA, StatSoc card, Batman remittances, Stat-is-eeks, and Anniv Theme discussion were included.

A game was conducted on which heightened up the excitement of the members. The first member who gets to the stage wearing the color of the shirt that was announced wins. For the red shirt, Kristine (applicant) won.

Keith Ambos was the 2nd to win the prize wearing a white shirt.

Next was Janmae Martinez wearing a green shirt.

Aaron Amarga wearing a yellow shirt.

Last was Jaimee dela Cruz wearing a black shirt.

Special awards for Spongebatch 07-B were given by Sherine Rivad, Personnel Committee Chairperson and Angeli Lim, Personnel Vice-Chairperson for Applicants' Affairs. First off were the awards for Best in Formal Interview and Best in Attendance. Janmae Martinez got both the awards.

Jana Terrado was declared best in their Applicants' Night. Of course, who would forget her remarkable dance moves in the song "Low"?

Best in Challenge Day was the very surprised Kimberly de Guzman. Want to know why?

Both the Best in Signature Sheet and the Tambay Queen awards was won by Jemimah Lavaro, whom apparently was absent. Good thing was Mynard Mojica and Anchor Asisti was there to get the certificate for her. (Can you see Jemimah's picture projected at the back?)

Congratulations to Janmae Martinez who was declared the Best Applicant of the batch '07-B. To wrap up the awarding for Spongebatch, their batch picture was taken.

After the last agenda of the general meeting, a committee breakdown was done.
